PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor unit wherein dimension in a direction perpendicular to a shaft is small in the stepping motor unit in which two stepping motors are arranged parallel with each other, an optical unit and an electronic camera. SOLUTION: The respective stepping motors 300 (400) of the stepping motor unit 200 are provided with rotors 300R (400R) constituted of the respective shafts 301 (401) which are rotatably retained and permanent magnets which are arranged on single sides of the shafts 301 (401), and stators 300S, 400S containing stator cores which are arranged for rotating the rotors 300R (400R) and coils for controlling magnetization. In the stepping motors 300, 400, the shafts 301, 401 are arranged parallel with each other, and driving parts constituted of the rotors combined with the shafts and of the stators are mutually positioned at opposite sides.
