PURPOSE: Sulfonamide derivatives for angiogenesis inhibitors, a preparation method thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same compounds are provided, which compounds have improved matrix metalloproteinase inhibiting activity, so that it can be useful for prevention and treatment of cancer. CONSTITUTION: Sulfonamide derivatives represented by formula 1, optical isomers thereof, pharmaceutically acceptable salts or solvates thereof are provided, wherein X is OH or NHOH; A is hydrogen, C1-C8 lower alkyl, C9-C20 higher alkyl, N-aryl, N-heteroaryl, carbamate or urea; B is hydrogen, C1-C8 lower alkyl, or C9-C20 higher alkyl, wherein A and B may form ring structure to be pyrrole; and R is hydrogen, C1-c8 lower alkyl, C9-C20 higher alkyl, aryl, heteroaryl, C1-C8 lower alkyl having 4-8 membered ring compound, 4-8 membered hetero ring compound, or C1-C8 lower alkyl having 4-8 membered hetero ring compound. A method for preparing the sulfonamide derivatives of formula 1 for angiogenesis inhibitors comprises the steps of: reducing compound of formula 3 to prepare a compound of formula 2; and hydrogenation of the compound of formula 2.
