<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently develop advertising effects by surely printing advertisements. <P>SOLUTION: Image data are generated by compounding the print data of a user with advertisement data so that an image based on the print data of the user can be printed in a user print area in a recording material, and that an image based on the advertisement data can be printed in an advertisement print area in the recording material.
