<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is necessary to prepare an exclusive media profile even when the base color of media is a little different. <P>SOLUTION: This print controller is provided with a color measurement data acquiring means for measuring the ground color of media (printing medium) to be printed, and for acquiring base color measurement data corresponding the ground color and an image converting means for converting image data based on various detecting information included in profile information by reflecting the base color measurement data acquired by the color measurement data acquiring means for color conversion information associated with color conversion in the setting information. Thus, it is possible to print an image on which the base color of the media is reflected by using profile information corresponding to reference media without preparing any profile information corresponding to the media to be printed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
