<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture reproducing apparatus and a moving picture reproducing control program that can adaptively process a plurality of data forms with an enhanced processing efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving moving picture data with a plurality of kinds of forms, the moving picture reproducing apparatus converts the moving picture data into data with a prescribed data form and modifies a function configuration of an engine depending on each data form to reproduce the various moving picture data. Further, the moving picture reproducing apparatus properly modifies a reproduction processing speed (a start time of a frame scheduled of processing before decoding and a processing capability assigned to process the frame) on the basis of a data quantity (frame length) of the frame scheduled of processing before decoding and adjusts the quantity of moving picture data stored in an output buffer to a proper range. Further, the moving picture reproducing apparatus reduces the power consumption by also modifying the number of operation cycles and an operating voltage e.g. during a low capability operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
