<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately discriminate the propriety of an installed place for a telemetering PHS for transmitting data of facility/device to a center apparatus at a remote place. <P>SOLUTION: A PHS 2 measures the number of frame errors and the electric field strength from base stations 4, 5 for a prescribed time to calculate an average value of measured values of the base stations 4, 5. A discrimination display light (not shown) is lighted/put out as a condition of propriety discrimination of an installed place of the PHS 2 on the basis of the average value of the electric field strength values of the base stations 4, 5 with the highest electric field strength, the minimum value of the electric field strength of the base stations 4, 5 and the average value of the number of frame errors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
