PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data collection device capable of optimizing the resolution of an A/D converter. SOLUTION: The data collection device is provided with a multiplexer for selecting any one of a plurality of analog signals, an amplifier for converting the impedance of the analog signal outputted from the multiplexer, a D/A converter for converting gain and a multiplier set up in the device into an analog signal, a multiplier for multiplying an output signal from the amplifier and an output signal from the D/A converter, an A/D converter for converting an analog signal outputted from the multiplexer into a digital signal, and an arithmetic processing unit (APU) for executing signal processing on the basis of the digital signal, instructing the analog signal to be selected by the multiplexer and setting up the gain and the multiplier in the D/A converter.
