摘要 PURPOSE: A method for regenerating ion exchange resin for water softener is provided to increase regeneration efficiency of the ion exchange resin greatly and enable the ion exchange resin to be regenerated within a very short period of time by regenerating the ion exchange resin using regenerating solution containing high concentration NaCl. CONSTITUTION: The method for regenerating ion exchange resin for water softener comprises a step (a) of injecting an ion exchange resin regenerating solution including NaCl having concentration of 20 to 40% into a column containing the ion exchange resin for water softener; a step (b) of dipping the ion exchange resin into the regenerating solution for 1 to 5 minutes; a step (c) of draining the regenerating solution from the column; and a step (d) of rinsing the column to discharge exchanged hardness constituents to the outside of the column, wherein NaCl concentration of the regenerating solution is 31 to 35%, wherein injection of the regenerating solution is downwardly performed for ion exchange resin column, wherein the dipping step is performed for 2 to 3 minutes, wherein the draining step is downwardly performed for the ion exchange resin column, and drain speed is natural gravitational speed and controlled through an external valve, wherein the rinsing step is downwardly performed for the ion exchange resin column, wherein the method further comprises second regenerating solution injecting step after the draining step (c), and wherein the method further comprises dipping step and second draining step after second regenerating solution injecting step.
