<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the resolution for adjustment to adjust a delay time due to a difference among distances DL, DR, DC;DSL, DSR;DW, from each of loudspeakers 2L, 2R, 2C;2SL, 2SR;2W to a listener 3 in order to localize a sound image in a pre-main amplifier 1 for realizing multi-channel reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: After a binary signal generating circuit 11 converts an input acoustic signal from an acoustic signal source 4 into a binary signal, a binary signal processing circuit 12 adjusts the delay time. After the adjustment, a switching amplifier circuit 13 power-amplifies the adjusted signal and the resulting signal is given to each loudspeaker 2 via a low pass filter 14. Thus, the delay time can be adjusted with a high resolution of the binary signal whose sampling frequency is higher than that of a multi-bit signal such as a PCM by several tens to a hundred times.
