METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REVISING COMMUNICATION SETTING IN xDSL SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically revise various settings such as a noise margin giving effects on other communication speed in response to an actual connection state of a line in an xDSL service. SOLUTION: A communication setting revising apparatus 100 is provided with: an error monitor section 102 for monitoring a communication error in xDSL connection by each line and giving an instruction of revising communication settings in the line when a communication error in a particular line exceeds a prescribed threshold value; and a communication setting revision section 104 for revising the setting such as increasing of a noise margin so as to more stabilize the communication in the line on the basis of the instruction to revise the communication settings.
