PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric resonator whose production costs are reduced and an adjusting method for a resonance frequency thereof, by which the resonance frequency is easily adjusted. SOLUTION: The dielectric resonator is equipped with a dielectric resonator body and a support, the dielectric resonator body is composed of an annular outer dielectric member and an inner dielectric member formed within the central hole of the annular outer dielectric member and having a dielectric constant equal to or different from that of the annular outer dielectric member, and the support is fixed under the dielectric resonator body. Besides, the dielectric resonator is adjusted to a scheduled resonance frequency by selecting the respective dielectric constants of the annular outer dielectric member and the inner dielectric member of the dielectric resonator body. Otherwise, the dielectric resonator is adjusted to the scheduled resonance frequency by selecting the outer or inner diameter of the annular outer dielectric member of the dielectric resonator body and the outer diameter of the inner dielectric member and (or) the thickness of the annular outer dielectric member and the inner dielectric member of the dielectric resonator body.
