PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively dim a luminescent spot defective pixel. SOLUTION: A laser beam is selectively irradiated to an organic EL element of a pixel. By the above, organic layers (hole transport layer 52, organic light emitting layer 54, electron transport layer 56) of the organic EL element are deteriorated and light emitting function is eliminated.
