PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve shielding of an electronic card connector having a shield. SOLUTION: The electronic card connector 1 includes a rectangular insulating body 11 to accommodate a plurality of terminals 11 and a shield 14. A rectangular insertion groove 112 is formed in both ends of the insulating body, the shield includes an upper shield 15 and a lower shield 16. The upper shield comprises a first hook part 151 and a second group 152, and the lower shield comprises an inserter 161, a second hook part 162 and a first group 163. The upper shield is assembled on the insulating body, and the lower shield is assembled to the upper shield by combining the first hook part with the first group, and combining the second hook part with the second group. Complete shielding and protective effect can be provided by inserting the lower shield and the upper shield facing an electronic card of the electronic card connector. In addition, the assembling system of the lower shield is simple, the operation is convenient, and the manufacturing efficiency can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
