PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide switch capable of preventing a lock condition from being released unexpectedly after sliding and operating a slider to a desired position to realize the lock condition. SOLUTION: This slide switch is provided with a slider in which a hole part passing through in the vertical direction is formed in substantially central part, a lock button stored in the hole part of the slider so as to slide in the axial direction and the circumferential direction and provided with a bottom part capable of protruding more downward than a lower face of the slider, an elastic member for energizing the lock button in the circumferential direction and the axial direction, and a housing which stores the slider slidably and in which a plurality of recessed parts engageable with a bottom part of the lock button are formed to constitute a lock mechanism for regulating the slide of the slider by the engagement of the bottom part of the lock button with the recessed parts of the housing. The lock button is turned by elastic force of an elastic member to hold the lock condition of the lock mechanism. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
