PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the noise mainly caused by the whistling sound produced by accompanying rotation of an optical disk from leaking to the outside of an optical disk device through an opening. SOLUTION: The opening 4 formed in a casing 3 is shut by a front panel 8 of a disk tray 6 existing in a housing position and further a partition wall 11 is interposed between the front panel 8 and the optical disk 5. As a result, the leakage of the noise mainly caused by the whistling sound produced by accompanying the rotation of the optical disk 5 is prevented by the double walls of the front panel 8 and the partition wall 11 and therefore the leakage of the noise through the opening 4 can be effectively prevented.
