PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticketing machine capable of improving the operability for a user to reduce the load, and improving the serviceability, and to provide a ticketing method applied in this ticketing machine. SOLUTION: This ticketing machine 200 comprises a display part 202 for displaying input buttons 208 for setting the ticket information necessary for issuing tickets, a touch panel 201 for detecting contact or non-contact with the display part 202, and a part 282 for issuing the ticket on the basis of the ticket information set by the input button 208 by detecting the contact with the input button 208 displayed on the display part 202 through the touch panel 201, and then detecting the non-contact from the display part 202.
