Device for facilitating or producing a flow of molten metal through a mass of refractory sand protecting the discharge opening of a container, when the container cannot be normally evacuated by gravity or pressure, comprises an externally powered (pneumatic and/or electric) propulsive, rotative or percussive system placed under the opening and included in the protection part of the moving molten metal stream. Preferred Features: The device can include elements for melting solidified metal or for cleaning the discharge opening, and can be installed after an incident has been identified. In particular, the device can be equipped with a system for maintaining centering and locking with the refractory tube. |
