PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographed image display of simple arrangement using no frame memory and a method for displaying a photographed image. SOLUTION: In the photographed image display having a liquid crystal display module, the liquid crystal display module comprises a graphic memory for storing image data, and a liquid crystal display for displaying an image based on the image data. The photographed image display comprises a camera outputting the image data of an object sequentially, and an image data recording medium wherein the image data being outputted sequentially is transferred to the graphic memory. Upon receiving a designation for recording the image data, a decision is made whether the image data is under transfer to the graphic memory or not. If it is not under transfer, transferred image data is read out and recorded on the image data recording medium. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
