PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transceiver capable of suppressing power consumption of a control part regarding communication during non-operation of an engine. SOLUTION: In this transceiver circuit that supplies a first signal according to an input signal from signal wiring to a communication controller having a clock generation circuit and a control part that generates a second signal and a third signal according to results by analyzing the first signal and simultaneously supplies an output signal to the signal wiring according to the second signal from the communication controller, it is provided with a driver that supplies the signals to the signal wiring according to the second signal and on the other hand, transfers to a sleep state according to changes of logical levels of the third signal and a control circuit to which the first, third signals are supplied, turns the clock generation circuit off by supplying a control signal at a first logical level to the communication controller according to the changes of logical levels of the third signal and on the other hand, turns the clock generation circuit on by supplying a control signal at a second logical level to the communication controller according to changes of logical levels of the first signal.
