The drive has an internal combustion engine and an electric motor (5) that can be used as an additional and alternative drive, and as a generator for supplying a battery. The motor has a drive connection to the engine via a clutch (6) and is pref. arranged in series between the engine and a transmission on the output side. The drive power is controlled by a control or accelerator pedal (16). The electric motor is switched over to generator mode and resulting decelerating torque is generated by the brake pedal (18). If the control pedal is not activated, the clutch is opened and the motor is switched over to or remains in generator mode, and the drag torque is amplified by applying the brake pedal. |
