PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust core that shows high permeability when the core is actually used, has a satisfactory D.C. superimposing characteristic, and can be reduced suitably in size. SOLUTION: This dust core is composed of a press-molded body composed mainly of a soft magnetic powder having an aspect ratio of 1.3-2.5. The major axis of the soft magnetic powder is inclined from the direction of the magnetic path of the core by an average angle of≥20°. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
