PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin image discriminating device capable of minimizing the lowering of the coin discriminating power of a charged coin caused by the attachment of a liquid matter. SOLUTION: A liquid matter eliminating means 60 for collecting and eliminating the liquid matter flowing in a coin passage 2 is mounted on the coin passage 2 at an upstream side with respect to a position where an image pick-up means 20 and a light emitting means 6 are mounted.
