PURPOSE: A file for keeping documents is provided to be configured with paper or synthetic resin sheets, and to combine a foldable cover with a file sheet as one in a predetermined part of a file cover, thereby easily manufacturing the file and reducing cost. CONSTITUTION: An upper cover plate(10), a lower cover plate(11), and a side cover plate(12) extended from a file back cover(2) as one are configured in upper/lower parts and an external part of the file back cover(2). Sub thickness surfaces(13,14,15) having the same width as a file thickness surface(4) are formed on the cover plates(10,11,12). Curved lines(16,16',17,17') are formed on both sides of the sub thickness surface(15) and upper/lower parts of the sub thickness surfaces(13,14).
