PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forklift truck that automatically prevents dislodgment of a pallet from forks even when a sudden stopping operation or reverse turning operation are made during traveling. SOLUTION: The forklift truck 1 has a pallet dislodgment preventing device 2 for preventing dislodgment of a pallet P, on a side of the forks 17 for supporting the pallet P. The pallet dislodgment preventing device 2 comprises rotatably journaled polygonal members 3 whose angle portion 3a projects from a top face of the fork 17, and elastic urging members 4 for urging under pressure a face portion 3b of the polygonal member 3 to project the angle portion 3a from the top face of the fork 17.
