PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of automatically increasing dehumidifying performance under a condition where humidity in a cabin increases to easily generate window tarnish. SOLUTION: A humidity sensor 39 for detecting a humidity in the cabin is disposed. When the humidity in the cabin detected by the humidity sensor 39 is a predetermined value or higher, an air conditioner ECU 5 decreases temperature TEO after target evaporator set by a temperature setting means after target evaporator. Therefore, under the condition where the humidity in the cabin increases to easily generate window tarnish, the dehumidifying performance is automatically increased to prevent the window tarnish.
