PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method which can precisely print the printing pattern of a clock calendar. SOLUTION: Printing is applied to a calendar member by using an original printing plate having a plurality of minute dot patterns 3 besides a calendar character pattern 2. By measuring each position coordinate of the minute dot patterns 3, the coordinate of a standard position 7 set in a jig fitting in an external tooth form, and directional angles, the relationship of the position/ directional angle of the minute dot pattern 3 to the external tooth form standard of the calendar member is calculated. In order to correct a printing dislocation which is a difference from a prescribed position/directional angle relationship in design, the position/angle direction of the installation of the original printing plate or the calendar member is corrected/adjusted.
