PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a light entering part is made bright due to that the light entering from the end surface of a light guide plate transmits through a polarizing plate and arrives at a panel and reflects on the panel. SOLUTION: In the reflection type liquid crystal panel formed by sticking the polarizing plate 2, an adhesive layer 3 and the light guide plate 4 successively from a glass substrate side to the display surface side of the glass substrate, light shielding is performed at the parts near to a light incident surface on the glass substrate side surface and the display surface side surface of the light guide plate 4.
