<p>The invention relates to a system for transferring a fluid product between a fluid carrier and a storage unit, such as a storage vessel. The inventive system is of the type which comprises a flexible fluid transfer line between the carrier and the storage unit. Said system is characterised in that the flexible transfer line (5) is freely suspended between the ends thereof in the transfer position, whereby it is connected to the manifold device (9) of the carrier (1), and in that the transfer line storage device (6) consists of a wheel of the type that comprises a rim and spokes. Said wheel is mounted to the storage unit in order to pivot around an axis (8) which is vertical to the water surface and to rotate around a horizontal axis between a position in which the flexible transfer line is wound around the rim and another position in which said line is at least partially unwound and connected to the carrier (1). The invention can be used for the transfer of natural gas.</p> |
