BATH HEAT RECOVERY TYPE HOT WATER HEATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy-saving appliance by efficiently recovering the heat of residual hot water after taking a bath in relation to an electric water heater recovering the heat of the residual hot water of a domestic use bath.

SOLUTION: This bath heat recovery type hot water heater is disposed with a hot water storage side pump A4 feeding the hot water in a lower part of a hot water storage tank 1 to a heat exchanger 5 and returning the hot water with the heat exchanged therein to the hot water storage tank 1, and a bath side pump B7 feeding the residual hot water in the bath 6 to the heat exchanger 5 and discharging the hot water with the heat exchanged therein from a discharge port 8. The residual hot water in the bath 6 with the heat exchanged by the heat exchanger 5 is prevented from returning to the bath, so that the whole temperature of the residual hot water of the bath 6 is prevented from lowering by mixing of the residual hot water before the heat exchange with the residual hot water after the heat exchange and thus the heat of the residual hot water of the bath 6 is efficiently recovered.
