<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type display device which can improve brightness of display and contrast, has excellent display quality and enables quick response. <P>SOLUTION: This reflection type display device 1 has a plurality of stages 20 which can change the angle with the substrate 10 on the substrate 10, a hologram element (reflection element) which transmits incident light from the specified direction and reflects the incident light of specified wavelength from the specified direction is formed on the surface of opposite side to the substrate 10 of each stage 20, a light absorber 40 which absorbs the light transmitted by each hologram element is formed on the opposite side to the light incident side of each hologram element and plural kinds of hologram elements 30R-30B which reflect the light of different wavelength are disposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
