<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a quality image excellent in the coloring and glossiness of a recorded article in ink-jet recording. <P>SOLUTION: An ink set having a clear ink composition which contains a cationic resin and does not contain a coloring agent, at least a yellow ink composition, a magenta ink composition, and a cyan ink composition is used for recording.
