PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion-compensated Raman optical fiber amplifier.

SOLUTION: The dispersion-compensated Raman optical fiber amplifier used in an optical communication system includes: a circulator for outputting optical signals inputted through a first end to a second end and for outputting optical signals inputted through the second end to a third end; a dispersion compensating optical fiber for amplifying optical signals passing therein; a pumping light source for outputting pumping light having a prescribed wavelength to the dispersion compensating optical fiber; a wavelength selective coupler which is connected to an output end of the pumping light source and outputs the pumping light to the dispersion compensating optical fiber; and a reflection part which is connected to an output end of the dispersion compensating optical fiber and reflects optical signals to the dispersion compensating optical fiber.
