PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shielding member for a display having electromagnetic wave shieldability, transparent non-visibility and good adhesive characteristics and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave shielding member to be used by being arranged in front of the display consists of a hot press laminate 1d of a transparent base material 11, a metallic mesh formed by etching metallic foil 12 on the transparent base material 11 and a film with adhesives formed by over-coating on the metallic mesh.
