<p>The present invention provides a composition which comprises a complex of a bacteriophage and a cationic delivery moiety, such as a cationic polymer, in particular a cationic peptoid or a cationic peptide. More specifically, the present invention provides a composition comprising a complex of a bacteriophage and a delivery peptide or a protective or stabilising peptide. The present invention further provides a method for the delivery of bacteriophage across a membrane, such as a cell membrane; and a method for the treatment of bacterial infection, in particular intracellular bacterial infection, using a complex according to the invention.</p> |
