The plug connector has a cage (2) for reception of several contact pins attached to the motor lead cable lines, a housing (4) receiving the cage and a holder (6) receiving the housing, provided with a screening surface (8), a stop edge (10) and a strap (12). The cage is plugged into the housing, which is plugged into the holder, both the cage and the holder provided as injection moulded plastics components.
