A punching device, wherein punch heads (22) are supported by the punch base (21) of a punch unit (7), air cylinders (24) are lifted between a punching position and a waiting position, the output shafts (36) of hammer mechanisms (29) are inserted into the punch heads (22), punch pins are installed at the lower ends of the output shafts (36) so as to be removed to a die (12) side, work rise prevention caps (39) are installed at the lower end parts of the punch heads (22) so as to be removed to the die (12) side in order to form a small space for work transfer between the caps (39) and the dies (12) at the time of punching, the punch unit (7) is raised to a pin replacement position by an air cylinder (17), the caps (39) are removed, and the punch pins (28) are replaced, whereby the punch pins can be easily and rapidly replaced without removing the punch heads.
