摘要 A reforming device which has a flow path (1) for forming a reformed gas provided with a reforming catalyst section (2), a shift catalyst section (3) and a CO selective oxidation catalyst section (4) which are arranged in this order along the direction of the flow of the gas, and a combustion gas flow path (5) for heating a reforming catalyst section (2), a shift catalyst (3) and a CO selective oxidation catalyst section (4), wherein the flow path (1) for forming a reformed gas is comprised of a first flow path (1a) provided with a second heat recovery section (6) which recovers heat from a gas havin g passed through the shift catalyst section (3) and a gas having passed throug h the CO selective oxidation catalyst section (4) and supplies heat to a fuel gas and steam to be fed to the reforming catalyst section (2) and with the reforming catalyst section (2) and a second flow path (1b) provided with a first heat recovery section (7) which recovers heat from a gas having passed through the reforming catalyst section (2) and supplies heat to the reformin g catalyst section (2) and with the shift catalyst section (3) and the CO selective oxidation catalyst section (4), and wherein the first flow path (1 a) is arranged so as to be adjacent to the combustion gas flow path (5) and the second flow path (1b) is arranged so as to be adjacent to the first flow pat h (1a). The reforming device is of miniature size and has a simple structure, and also is of high efficiency and excellent in starting characteristics.</S DOAB>
