<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can improve a user's convenience of use and can simply and appropriately print in conformity with a directivity of a printed image. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 1 which prints in conformity with the directivity of the printed image A to a disc-shaped storage medium 4 having the image printed to a part of a surface is equipped with a printing means 12 for printing to the surface of the storage medium 4, a set tray 3 for holding the storage medium 4 detachably and angularly rotatably within a horizontal plane, and a partial illuminating means 13 which has a light source 81 and emits in a band shape an illumination light visible from the outside to the surface of the storage medium 4 on the set tray 3, thereby constituting an index line LL for indexing a directivity of printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
