<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for precisely controlling a valve of a brake system in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for controlling at least one valve in the brake system by the electric control value (i), a characteristic curve to indicate the relationship between the differential pressure (Δp) dropped in the valve and the electric control value (i) has a zone in which the change of the electric control value (i) brings the change of the differential pressure (Δp), and the starting value of the electric control value is selected so as to be within the zone or on the boundary of the zone while the valve is controlled.
