PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process the sliding face of the lap tip and a flat board part easily and precisely in a scroll type fluid machine to improve the efficiency of the fluid machine. SOLUTION: A fixed scroll 40 has a fixed side lap 41 and an outer peripheral part 42. The fixed side lap 41 is formed in the shape of a volute wall, and the outer peripheral part 42 is formed in the shape of a ring surrounding the fixed lap 41. A movable scroll 50 has a first flat board 51, a movable side lap 53, and a second flat board 52. The movable side lap 53 is formed in the shape of a volute wall, and is held between the first flat board 51 and the second flat board 52 while being engaged with the fixed side lap 41. In the movable side lap 53, the first flat board 51 is integrally formed with the movable side lap 53.
