PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for safely and easily forming a snow cabin, and to provide a method for forming the same. SOLUTION: The snow cabin forming apparatus 10 is employed for forming the snow cabin 40, and comprised of a hollow bag body which is formed of a main body 11 and an entrance forming portion 21 which communicate with each other in one body. The main body 11 is inflated to have an outer shape equal to the shape of the interior of the snow cabin 40 upon blowing gas, and it is contracted or collapsed to a size small enough to pass through a snow cabin entrance upon discharging the gas. The entrance forming portion 21 has a gas blowing port 24 and a gas discharge port 25, and it is inflated to have a size corresponding to the snow cabin entrance upon blowing the gas. In order to form the snow cabin 40, snow is blown and attached in layers to an outer surface of the snow cabin forming apparatus which is inflated by blowing the gas. Thereafter, by discharging the gas in the snow cabin forming apparatus 10, the main body 11 is minimized to be taken out of the snow cabin entrance 41. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
