PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sort a coin and a paper piece with a simple structure. SOLUTION: When the coin and the paper piece are housed in a coin box body 2, a sorting part 5 provided inside the coin box body 2 holds the paper piece in an upper space 3 and drops the coin into a lower space 4. Thus, the coin and the paper piece can be sorted only by inputting the coin and the paper piece without performing specified operation. The sorting part 5 is provided inside the coin box body 2, and thereby the sorting part 5 can be almost integrally produced and handled with the coin box body 2. By the coin box body 2 including the sorting part 5 inside thereof, the coin and the paper piece can be sorted with a simple structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
