TANDEM PRINT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem print system capable of printing a surface side image and a back side image while arranging the image positions with a stabilized precision without coarsening the control instrument even if the print page is lengthened. SOLUTION: A first printer (P1) forms alignment marks (Rm) on a web (W) at a constant interval including the head of a page and informs a second printer of alignment mark interval information (P2). The alignment mark (Rm) is detected by the mark detecting means (16) of the second printer (P2). A control means (17) controls the web carrying speed such that the phase becomes constant with respect to the mark detection signal generating timing of the mark detecting means (16) by detecting a control timing being calculated from a web feed control signal (CPF-N signal) being generated at a preset period and the alignment mark interval, and the alignment mark (Rm).
