The invention relates to a current generator, comprising a rotor driven by a shaft on a first current generator, a rotor component with inner and outer windings or magnets, surrounding the first rotor and which supports the second rotor of the first current generator and also the rotor of a second current generator, which is surrounded by the stator of the second current generator. The aim of the invention is to develop a current generator by means of which the described disadvantages of the state of the art can be avoided and offers wide application in wind energy plants, power stations of all kinds, in aircraft, or in the automobile industry and which ensures a simple refitting of extant plants with simple means. Said aim is achieved whereby the continuous or divided shaft (2) is driven by input of energy and in addition at least one gearbox (4) is provided thereon by means of which the rotor component (5) is set in counter-rotation to the shaft (2). |
