<p>The thermal window system according to the present invention permits thermal imagery from several different viewpoints through a plurality of apertures in one or more housing. It comprises, at each aperture, a primary frame (20) adapted for installation therein. There is a secondary frame (36) adapted for releasable mounting to any selected primary frame, and a thermal pane (37) carried by the secondary frame such that it can be mounted on a selected primary frame, to permit thermal imagery therethrough. A plurality of sealing caps (42) each mountable the rest of the primary frames are also provided to close unused apertures. The present invention also provides a method of monitoring the equipment using such equipment.</p> |
