<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new chain equipped with a lubricant supply source capable of maintaining sealing with liquid pressure of the lubricant for a long time by absorbing a clearance due to a new shape of a seal. <P>SOLUTION: This chain has a plurality of links comprising a plurality of pairs of plates (11, 12) linked to each other by pins (13) and bushings (14) engaged with outer peripheries of the pins. The pins and the bushings protrude through an inner plate, and a lubricating interface is installed between the bushings and the pins. An annular seal is engaged to both ends of the bushing (14) and compressed between the plates. The seal is shaped to have a lip (19) protruding towards an axial line of the seal in a condition that it is not compressed between the plates. The lip (19) has an action for entering between the bushing and the outer plate like a wedge in a manner to recover abrasion of the seal under a condition that the chain is assembled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
