<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set which can obtain a quality image without feathering and color bleeding even when printed on plain paper, can obtain a printed matter excellent in abrasion resistance, can obtain a high image density without the penetration of recording liquid into the depth of paper, can well do perfecting printing with an image density reduced when seen from a surface opposite to an image print surface, and can prevent image fouling by defective drying of the recording liquid, a recording method, recording apparatus, and recorded matter using the ink set and to provide an ink set which improves the water resistance of an image obtained on a recording medium and is excellent in stability with the passage of time without the propagation of mold, etc., in treatment liquid and the recording liquid even when stored for a long period, a recording method, a recording apparatus and a recorded matter using the ink set. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink set, the recording liquid containing a resin-coated coloring material and the treatment liquid containing fine particles reactive with the coloring material are combined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
