DYE DISPERSION AND THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which is excellent in productivity and free of liquid covering and in-liquid agglomeration and can be made into particulates and which has high coloring sensitivity and a high degree of whiteness of the ground and is excellent in the shelf stability of a colored image and the ground, in a method of dispersion using a medium.

SOLUTION: In a dispersion of leuco dye, the leuco dye is dispersed with an anionic surfactant contained as a dispersant. The average particle diameter of the leuco dye is 0.10-0.30 μm.
