SPEED INCREASE DEVICE FOR WIND POWER GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling efficiency of a planetary gear device in a speed increase device for a wind power generator provided with a planetary gear mechanism.

SOLUTION: This speed increase device has a planetary gear mechanism and a gear mechanism arranged in series between an input shaft and an output shaft. A medium input shaft of the gear mechanism is supported by a housing relatively rotatably around an axis and not movably in a radial direction. A sun gear acting as an output part in the planetary gear mechanism is spline- connected to the medium input shaft movably in the radial direction.
