PAPER FEEDING ROLLER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding roller 1 inexpensively manufactuable and hardly mountable in the wrong direction.

SOLUTION: This paper feeding roller 1 is formed by crosslinking a rubber composition. A shaft core 2 is inserted into the paper feeding roller 1. An outer peripheral face of the paper feeding roller 1 has a polished face obtained by polishing. The outer peripheral face is provided with a mark 3. A degree of polishing on the mark 3 and a degree of polishing on the polished face excluding the mark 3 are different from each other. An average interval Sm of the irregularity on the mark 3 and an average interval Sm of the irregularity on the polished face excluding the mark 3 are different from each other, whereby the mark 3 can be visually confirmed. A ratio of the average interval Sm of the irregularity on the mark 3 to the average interval of the irregularity on the area excluding the mark 3 is preferably 110% or more and 300% or less.
